Sunday 12th February

Clear Round Show Jumping from 11.00am to 3.00pm in our 60m x 40m outdoor school. Heights start at 50 cm and go up every 30 minutes. King's College rosette for each clear round and only £3.00 to enter. Also refreshments - tea/coffee, bacon butties etc. You are welcome to come along and watch.

BHS Approved Riding Establishment

We are pleased to announce that we are now a BHS Approved Riding Establishment. Our coaches use the new UKCC training techniques. You can be taught on one of our competition horses or bring your own. Why not give up the gym and come riding instead!

Horses for Sale

Please keep an eye on our For Sale page. We have a couple of competition horses coming up for sale and they will be advertised here first. This is a chance to get in before they are seen in Horse and Hound.

HGV Operators License

We now have an HGV Operators License for our horsebox. Should one of your horses be travalling in our lorry you will now have the comfort of knowing that the lorry is maintained to the strict standards set by VOSA and that we are fully insured for hire and reward. Please be very wary of loading your horse onto any lorry that is being run on private insurance.

Unaffiliated Dressage 29th January

Yesterday, Sunday 29 January, King's riders from both King's College and King's Hall School took part in the first unaffiliated Dressage show held at Comeytrowe Equestrian Centre. Anna Crocker (from King’s Hall) and Georgie Thomson and Polly Chelton (both from King’s College) all rode brilliantly and came home with King's College sponsored rosettes! There are many excellent riders here at King’s Hall and our most recent success is Anna (pictured) who was the very first rider in the arena for Class 1 on her own pony, Ditta. She then finished the class on her brother’s pony! Anna rode beautifully and gained first and second places. Georgie won Class 2 and came second in Class 3, with Polly coming third in Class 1.

Livery Available

We have a little space for some liveries. Because we are situated so close to Taunton we are in the ideal location to base your horse if you wish to compete or hunt in Somerset or Devon.

New Menage Surface

The final touches being put to our new sand and fibre surface in our outdoor arena with thanks to Combi-ride.

Hire our Facilities

Our indoor school, 15 x 30m, with a top class surface, sloping sides and full floodlights, is available for hire. This supersafe space is ideal for working with youngsters or for many other events such as for trying a pony or horse before purchase, saddle fitting and many other uses. We can also provide all the facilities for pre purchase vetting if the vendor of a prospective purchase does not have them. The outdoor school is also available for hire for lessons and other events.
